At CFR Engines Inc., forward thinking and innovation are integrated into our business and products and are among our core beliefs.
Since the launch of the first octane rating engine in 1929, the CFR brand has pioneered the industry with innovative quality in all systems and units in order to bring value and success to our customers' operations.
The team who designed and engineered the first engine, Cooperative Fuel Research (CFR) committee, was ahead of their time. Furthermore, in June of 1980 the CFR engine was recognized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) as the 49th in their series of historic mechanical engineering landmarks. Additionally, because of the international interest in the CFR engine it is also the recipient of the 1st international landmark by the ASME National History and Heritage Committee.
Today, the CFR team continues to deliver and dedicate the same quality and innovative thinking to new and existing products for the Energy Industry. Recently a dedicated state-of-the-art Research and Development center opened in Singapore to trailblaze the CFR team’s commitment to product innovation and advancement.
